Douglas ESD’s Education Services Department exists to support educators, students, and school districts across Douglas County with data-driven resources, training, and systems needed for success.

We work alongside schools to enhance instruction, provide professional development, and create opportunities for student growth through programs like Career and Technical Education (CTE), Youth Development, and Educator Supports.

Our team specializes in curriculum development, grant reporting, instructional coaching, and other initiatives, ensuring that every educator has the tools they need and every student has the support to thrive.

Whether it's helping districts navigate Title III requirements, strengthening career pathways, or offering mentorship programs for students, Douglas ESD is dedicated to collaboration, innovation, and belonging in education.

Our District Instructional Systems help schools create clear, consistent, and effective learning experiences for students. We support educators with curriculum development, teacher training, assessment strategies, and leadership guidance. By using data to inform decisions and providing professional development, we help teachers meet the needs of all students and create pathways to success for every learner.

The Douglas County Regional Educator Network (REN) brings educators together to foster collaboration, innovation, and equity across Douglas County.

The REN provides tailored professional learning, fosters meaningful connections, and supports inclusive practices that help all students thrive. Through shared strategies and systemic improvements, educators can build relationships, tackle challenges, and drive lasting change in Douglas County.

Educator Supports

Douglas ESD is here to support teachers and help students learn better. We offer training and resources to give teachers new ideas and tools for their classrooms. Our instructional coaches work one-on-one with educators to provide guidance, share strategies, and solve challenges. By working together, we help teachers create welcoming, engaging, and effective learning spaces for all students.

Youth Development

The Youth Development Team partners with local school districts, youth-serving organizations, and community agencies to ensure young people have the support, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed. We help connect youth to mentors, career training, and personal development programs, creating pathways for them to build confidence, gain new skills, and plan for their futures. By working together, we make sure every student has access to caring adults, educational support, and real-world experiences that help them reach their goals.
