Local Interagency Coordinator Council

Local Interagency Coordinator Council (LICC) comprised of parents, educators, and community partners who are dedicated to ensuring quality and delivery of Early Intervention and Early Childhood Special Education services in each county. This group was established to ensure interagency coordination and to support the ongoing development of services statewide for young children with disabilities.  The LICC group provides direction to EI/ECSE programs, and it’s members are always ready to listen to your concerns and ideas!

The Douglas County LICC actively seeks new representatives who are committed to enhancing and ensuring that all students experiencing disabilities have access to a free and appropriate education and systems within educational settings. Public meetings are open, and parents of children in Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education programs are critical to the continued development and access to education. Parents are encouraged to attend and participate in shaping the educational landscape for the better. The LICC group is a way for parents to network with parents and representatives from the community.

Please contact your program Administrators or your child’s service coordinator for more information.
