Special Education Evaluation and Support

Douglas ESD’s Special Education Evaluation and Support (SEECS) program provides school districts with expert support for special education evaluations and re-evaluations. This contracted service includes licensed school psychologists and specialists with expertise in autism spectrum disorders and traumatic brain injury, ensuring that evaluations are conducted by professionals skilled in assessing a wide range of eligibility criteria.

Our school psychologists bring advanced knowledge in differential diagnosis, helping districts accurately assess and identify students' needs. Additionally, the program offers coaching and modeling to support students with autism and traumatic brain injuries, empowering educators with strategies to enhance learning outcomes.

With SEECS, districts gain access to highly trained specialists dedicated to providing accurate assessments and tailored support for students with unique learning needs.
