Partner Sports Camp

The is a group photo of more than 75 Partner Sports Camp participants. The group is outside in a park.

Partner Sports Camp is a two-week summer program where friendships and lasting memories are made. Campers with special needs are paired with youth volunteers, known as partners, to participate in a variety of activities. While the focus is on sports, the camp also includes hiking, fishing, crafts, and campfire cooking.  Formerly known as Camp Shriver, Partner Sports Camp is a FREE program offered through a collaboration between Douglas ESD and the YMCA of Douglas County. The camp is held at the local YMCA, located at 1151 N.W. Stewart Parkway, Roseburg, and is open to students with special needs (ages 8-21) from across Douglas County.
