Douglas ESD’s Human Resources Department provides vital support to our organization and partners with school districts to streamline HR operations
Our services include, but are not limited to, processing leaves and ensuring compliance under OFLA/FMLA, Workers’ Compensation compliance, contract management, Oregon law compliance, collective bargaining, employee leave, unemployment claims, investigations, staff training, and professional licensure requirements.
We also assist with recruitment, retention, and guiding aspiring educators through the teaching licensure process. By managing these responsibilities, we enable districts to focus on their core mission—educating students.
Employee Resources
The Douglas Education Service District employs more than 300 professionals between its Roseburg and Medford sites. The myriad of services our staff provide educators and families fall under one mission: Teaching children.
