Blue Zones excitement is building

Douglas Education Service District staffers were among many area residents rejoicing at the recent news that the Umpqua region is one of the three new demonstration communities in Oregon for the Blue Zones Project.

May 6 MATP Celebration rides on!

Today was MATP day at Fremont Middle School!

Many Douglas ESD employees don T-shirts and take up duty stations at the annual Motor Activities Training Celebration, which is set aside to provide fun and affirmation for kids with significant motor impairments. It’s a Special Olympics event that allows the kids to participate in modified athletic and recreational activities.

Notice of Budget Committee Meeting

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of Douglas Education Service District, Douglas County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018, will be held at 1871 NE Stephens St., Roseburg, OR.  The meeting will take place on the 25th day of May, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.  The purpose is to receive the budget message and document of the district.  A copy of the budget document may be inspected and obtained on or after May 25, 2017 at the administrative offices, 1871 NE Stephens, Roseburg, OR, between 7:30 a.m.
